Privacy Policy

[Company legal name] ("we") makes Vocalings Suite. This policy explains what we collect and why. We collect as little as we can.
When you sign up for the free trial
Your name and email address, so we can send you the download link and a few short emails during your trial (tips, and a reminder before it ends). Every one of them has a one-click unsubscribe link, and they stop when you buy. If you came from one of our ads, we also note which ad (campaign tags), so we know which ads work.
How we measure our ads and the trial
We note which ad or which creator's link brought you, and our site remembers it in your browser for 30 days. The download link in our email is personal: when you click it we record the time, whether it was a phone or a computer, and your internet (IP) address. When Vocalings Suite first starts on a computer, we compare that computer's internet address with recent download clicks (up to 48 hours earlier) to know your trial has started; we delete the stored IP address after 30 days. From the plugin's licence checks and AI requests we count on which days and how much Vocalings is used on that computer. If you buy, we link the purchase to your trial (by your email, or by the computer you activate). We send Meta a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address and the ad-click ID so we can measure our ads; Meta cannot turn it back into your email. Creators who recommend us only see totals, never your name or email.
What the plugin sends us
- A computer ID: a scrambled code made from your computer's hardware ID, so we can run the free trial and the 2-computer limit. It can't be turned back into the original ID.
- Your licence key and the plugin version, to check your licence and tell you about updates.
- Your AI requests: the text you type or say, and a short technical description of the vocal (levels, frequency balance, the plugin's current settings). Never your audio recording.
- How much of your AI allowance you have used, so the allowance can be applied.
- When it opens: that the plugin was opened, its version and format (AU or VST3), which music app it runs in and whether the computer is a Mac or Windows, so we know how Vocalings is used.
What stays on your computer
Your audio, your projects and your voice. The TALK button turns speech into text on your computer.
Who processes it
- Paddle.com handles payments, invoices and tax as our Merchant of Record. Your payment details go to Paddle, never to us. See Paddle's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare runs our server and stores licence records.
- An AI provider (currently OpenAI) receives the text of AI requests and the technical vocal description to produce the answer.
Purchases
When you buy, Paddle shares with us your email address, country and order details, so we can create your key and help you with support.
Cookies and ads
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure our ads: it tells us when someone who saw an ad signs up for the trial or buys. It uses cookies set by Meta. Paddle's checkout uses its own cookies to process payments safely. Our site also keeps the ad or creator you came from in your browser's storage for 30 days. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
Licence records for as long as your licence exists. AI request texts are not stored by us beyond what is needed to answer them and count your allowance. Internet (IP) addresses from download clicks are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data: email [email protected]. Deleting your licence record also deactivates your key.
